PixiJs Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance 2D browser-based games using PixiJS.
• Build interactive game mechanics, animations, particle effects, and responsive UI components.
• Develop and integrate React.js components with the PixiJS rendering engine.
• Optimize game performance across desktop and mobile devices.
• Debug and resolve rendering, performance, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript code.
• Collaborate with Game Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with PixiJS and React.js, or equivalent experience with HTML5 Canvas/WebGL.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• Good understanding of HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and browser performance optimization.
• Experience with sprite-based animations, particle systems, and animation libraries such as GSAP or Tween.js.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and PixiJS with React applications.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in the iGaming, Casino, or Slot Games industry.
• Familiarity with Unity, Phaser, or similar game engines.
• Experience with Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Knowledge of WebGL shaders and graphics programming.
